Bail Bonds DIRECT is a fully licensed and bonded professional business. One of the most trusted names in the bail bond industry. Our staff of Bail Bond Agents are professionals who know the Redondo Beach jails.
Whether a person has been arrested for domestic violence, DUI, DWI or any other offense the process is the same. Persons taken into custody by the Redondo Beach Police or Sheriff's Department will be held at either the Redondo Beach Police Station Jail, Sheriff's Station Jail or will be transfered to the Los Angeles County Jail (IRC) and will be kept there until their first court date called the "Arraignment." Bail is allowed to be posted in any facility 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Before a bail bond is turned in and accepted, the arrestee must pass a background check through "Live Scan", which is a machine that is linked to a county, state and national database. That database will notify the authorities of any possible holds, warrants, or aliases that might prevent release or increase the total bail amount of an arrestee. Once the results of the Live Scan come back from the various government agencies, that person is then "cleared" to bond out. At this time, a jailor will review and accept a Bail Bond for an arrestee and release them on the Bail Bond.
From the time a Bail Bond is turned in, it takes between 30 minutes and 3 hours for a release depending on the facility where the person is being held. Release times do vary based on the workload of the Redondo Beach jail's staff as well as the type of facility. Once out, a person will need to complete his or her part of the paper work, take a picture, and make sure to show up to each and every court date thereafter. It is recommended that you hire a Redondo Beach criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible.
In addition to being bail bonds agents we are proud members of the Redondo Beach community.
Redondo Beach is one of the three beach cities located in Los Angeles County. Originally part of the 1784 Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant, the area would later become the South Redondo area and today its boasts a population of 63,261 residents as of 2000. Redondo Beach starts below the bluffs of Palos Verdes and goes north to the Redondo Pier. The city houses a paved path known as The Strand, which runs from South Redondo to north Santa Monica. The Strand is used by walkers, runners, bicyclists, rollerbladers, skateboarder, and many others who enjoy the sand and surf. The area is well known for both surfing and beach volleyball. Surfers can be found in Redondo Beach year round, and it is not uncommon to find people surfing here on both Christmas and New Years Day; with waves reaching record highs of 15 to 20 feet, in 2005, many people flock to the beaches here to catch a large wave. The wide, flat, sandy beaches offer a great place for tourists and locals to come and play beach volleyball. Poles and nets are placed on the beach year round to attract anyone who wants to play. Besides the city's gorgeous beaches, it does boast other areas of interest for those who are not so sand savvy. The revitalized downtown area, termed 'Riviera Village' provides opportunities to eat, shop, and come together in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The downtown area also has at least three wine tasting venues and independent boutiques specializing in fashion and clothing. The city is also home to the Marina, Pier and Harbor complexes which are large, planned centers of activity. They house korean seafood restaurants, small shops, bars and arcades. Many local fisherman can be found on the pier and many locals take advantage of the length of the pier. However, all the luxury of the beach does come at a high cost; Money Magazine has ranked communities in the city as some of the most expensive to love in in the United States.
